Nike Pegasus 42

Responsive full-length cushioning sculpted to energize an icon.

Responsive cushioning in this special edition Pegasus 42 provides an energized ride for everyday road runs. Experience power in every stride thanks to the propulsive feel of a curved, full-length Air Zoom unit and ReactX foam midsole. An updated fit gives you more space in the forefoot and toe box.

What's New?

• Targeted forefoot cushioning for improved toe-off compared to the Pegasus 41
• Updated silhouette increases the upward curve under the toe box for greater toe spring than the previous model

Full-Length Air Zoom Unit

Shaped to fit your foot, a full-length Air Zoom unit delivers a propulsive feel and Nike's highest energy return from heel to toe-off.

ReactX Foam Midsole

ReactX foam is 13% more responsive than previous React technology.

Breathable Upper

Lightweight mesh is softer and more breathable than earlier iterations, helping your feet stay comfortable.

High-Abrasion Rubber Outsole

Lighter than previous models, an updated Waffle outsole delivers traction and flexibility with high-abrasion rubber and flex grooves.

Wide Toe Box

We updated the fit to give you a little extra room at the toes and forefoot compared to the 41.
