The Vaporfly 4 is a lean, mean, mile-eating machine. For this special edition, we teamed up with the French running shop DISTANCE to create this colorway. More than a niche boutique, DISTANCE is a community-centric hub for passionate runners to peruse top-tier products like this racer. Lighter and more propulsive than the Vaporfly 3, the Vaporfly 4 is our high-performing racing shoe built for all runners—trusted from the mile to the marathon.

Lighter Foam

Nike ZoomX, our most responsive foam, just got lighter. Running from heel to toe, it unlocks even more energy return than before with a slight midsole reduction, giving you a bouncy feel.

Full Speed

The full-length carbon fiber Flyplate sits at a higher angle compared to the plate in the Vaporfly 3. It combines with a lower heel-to-toe drop to give you a propulsive feel on race day.

Lighter Outsole

We reduced the weight of the outsole by using a thinner rubber compared to the Vaporfly 3.

Lighter Upper

Engineered mesh helps reduce the weight of the shoe while providing a more consistent fit.
