Nike x Tom Sachs Mars Yard 3.0

Inspired by the work of NASA engineers, the Mars Yard 3.0 is built for the sport of sculpture and the rigors of everyday life. Building off of previous Mars Yard models, the 3.0 has been redesigned with support and durability in mind. Some things don't change though: User-engagement is still important and Sachs has created a series of I.S.R.U. (In-Situ Resource Utilization) challenges that participants can complete to become eligible to purchase the new silhouette.

Durability in Design

From the bottom up: The rubber outsole gives you traction with every step. The TPU toe cap adds protection. The upper is made of strong, breathable mesh and sturdy leather. All together, it's a shoe that's built to last.

Built-in Stability

React foam and a carbon fiber shank help provide enhanced support and energy return, while a TPU heel clip helps deliver added stability with each step.
