Behind the Design

The metallic Swoosh logo speaks to the electricity that carries from the court to the city that never sleeps. Solar burst hues hint at the volume that’s about to turn up when the sun goes down.

Red-Dirt Ready

Nike Claybreaker technology helps give you enhanced traction and less buildup on clay courts. Added grip in the forefoot and midfoot work with a wide traction pattern to help you slide with control. We used traction maps, pressure maps and analyzed clay buildup areas for the design. Then we tested it on red-clay courts in Europe in multiple clay-weather conditions (cold, warm, wet and dry).

Cut Quickly

A strong plastic midfoot plate combines with a wide base to offer stability for quick cuts and sudden changes in direction. Synthetic leather around the lateral side helps keep your foot contained when moving side to side.

Move Freely

Extra rubber in the toe area, specifically the big-toe side, adds durability where it's needed. High-abrasion rubber along the outsole offers durability and traction.
