Nike Pegasus 40

The Pegasus 40 reps the past and future of Nike running. Whether you're gearing up for a school track meet or just running around the playground, these shoes will help get you there. Breathable on top and bouncy on bottom, the lightweight design flexes with your foot so you comfortably cut, corner and spring into action when it's time to play.

Breathable Comfort

Mesh is lightweight and breathable to help your feet stay cool—no matter how long and far you go.

Kid-Right Cushioning

Made right for kids' feet, our Cushlon foam gives a responsive and bouncy feel with every stride. A Zoom Air unit in the forefoot brings a quick off-the-ground sensation.

Ground Control

The rubber sole has a Waffle-inspired traction pattern to help grip surfaces, while cutout grooves increase flexibility for a better transition from heel to toe. An extra layer across the toe tip adds durability for those who drag their toes.

Move with Stability

A synthetic leather midfoot band stretches across the top for a secure and stable feel while running and moving in different directions.
