Nike Pegasus Trail 5

Spread your wings and see what nature brings as you chase earthy paths in the Peg Trail 5. Now equipped with an ultraresponsive ReactX foam midsole, this shoe is a true dual threat raring to cross the divide between dirt and drives. This special design takes you across rocky paths and above the blue waters to the Two Bays Trail in Australia, as part of our ongoing #IYKYK series.

Behind the Design

The earthy textures and speckled midsole represent the Two Bays Trail's tough terrain. Red arrows on the tongue tops, sockliners and upper are inspired by the iconic arrow signs with handwritten numbers used throughout the trail. Two Bays is identified by a circular symbol displaying a blue superb fairywren, which can be seen both on the signage along the route and on the sockliners. Deep and bright blues symbolize the start and finish of the 28K bay-to-bay stretch, where the ocean meets the sky.
