Inspired by Kyrie’s Rez Ball-like ferocity on the court, and his kindhearted compassion off it, its earth tones and dyed accents (with "berry stain" effect) deliver an outdoorsy look rooted in Native North American tradition. The burst of purple represents Kyrie’s kinetic connection to the game and the Indigenous community as he reconnects with his roots.

Behind the Design

Berry dyeing is a technique where Native Americans forage for different sorts of berries and use them to color garments. It’s a time-honored tradition passed down from generation to generation in Native American culture, specifically in the Northern Territories. Dyed materials with earthy colors and the "berry stain" effect complement the neutral colors throughout the design.

Symbols of Strength

The mountains on the tongue stand for Kyrie’s Standing Rock Sioux tribe name, Hela, or Little Mountain—a symbol of strength that Kyrie carries with him on and off the court.

Glove-Like Fit

The laces feed through interlocking bands in the forefoot. When you tighten the laces, they pull down to help keep your foot comfortably secure inside the shoe.

Responsive Court Feel

The foam in the midsole feels soft and smooth, while keeping you low to the ground and enhancing the sensation of court feel. A top-loaded Zoom Air unit under the ball of your foot responds to your force with a burst of returned energy at every step.
