This special Timothy Goodman x KD collaboration draws inspiration from a shared passion project the 2 icons teamed up on in the name of giving back to the community.

Behind the Design

In Brooklyn, New York, where basketball courts seemingly flood every corner and every city block, 1 stands alone. P.S. 152 painted in partnership between artist Timothy Goodman and the Kevin Durant Charity Foundation, which refurbishes public courts in communities across the country. The deep purples, ocean greens and acidic oranges reflect the same colors seen inside the 3-point line on the actual court. Special graphics pay homage to Goodman’s on-court white acrylic drawings suggested by local students, who get to enjoy the court for generations to come.

Lace Up, Lock In

The laces feed through floating wings along the sides. When you tighten the laces, the wings pull down to help hold your foot in place.

Grip and Go

The outsole pattern looks like a topographical map, with an array of contoured ridges that bend and deflect in multiple directions to provide traction for every move.
