WHAT IF?

Collaborating with streetwear label UNDEFEATED, the Kobe V Protro x UNDEFEATED "What If" Pack brings back the renowned low with 2 pairs of commemorative sneakers in one large box. One pair tells the story of the 12 teams that passed up on drafting Kobe in the 1996 draft. The second pair features colors from the team that drafted him only to trade him away on draft night. The shoes have the same performance details as the first Kobe V, with a fit retooled for comfort.

Unlucky 13

The sneakers nicknamed "Unlucky 13" combine an all-white base with pops of teal—colors from the team that originally drafted Kobe but made the fateful decision to trade him away.

Dirty Dozen

The other pair in the pack is the "Dirty Dozen," named in honor of the 12 teams that made the huge mistake of passing up on Kobe in the '96 draft. Colors from each of the teams are asymmetrically featured on the left and right shoes.

Undefeated Style

UNDEFEATED branding includes the "5 strikes" logo on the left tongue, right heel and right sockliner (on both pairs), as well as labels along the inside tongue. Mismatched sockliners show a large UNDEFEATED wordmark plus a list of the teams that passed up on drafting Kobe.

The padded, low-top collar looks sleek and feels incredible. It was the leader that kicked off a new era of low-top shoes in the league.
