Fully AR670-1 compliant, the Nike SFB Field 8" is built for first responders and other tactical athletes. A combination leather upper and a dynamic lacing system offer comfort and lockdown while the outsole features an aggressive traction pattern and internal rock shield for multi-surface grip.

To meet the intense physical demands of first responders, the Nike SFB offers extra puncture resistance at the forefoot, a cushioned, flexible midsole and a rubber outsole with reverse edges for better grip when walking and running downhill.

SFB Origins

During World War II, Nike Co-Founder Bill Bowerman served as a member of the 10th Mountain Division in Italy. Upon his return, he became the head track and field coach at his alma mater, the University of Oregon. It was there that he honed a gift for creating high-performance footwear for his athletes. This boot is a realization of both of Bowerman's worlds.
