The Flyknit upper—a one-piece layer made entirely of polyester yarn—seamlessly integrates areas of stretch and structure, providing ultralight support and a contoured fit. Knit-in Flywire cables cradle the midfoot for enhanced support where you need it most.

Exceptional Flexibility

New hexagonal flex grooves are hot-knife cut into the midsole, wrapping around the sidewall so your foot moves more naturally in every direction. Secondary cuts intersect the flex grooves for even greater flexibility.

Natural Stride

The heel mimics the shape of the foot to promote a more natural footstrike.

6mm Offset

With a 6mm difference between heel and forefoot height, the Nike Free 4.0 Flyknit gets you closer to the ground for a more natural feel while still offering a great blend of cushioning and support.
